Tow Alterenergy Strategic Project publications are now available: “Best practices survey in sustainable communities” - Italian version of the project deliverable 3.2 “Sustainable Communities Survey”, and “Sustainability in Friuli Venezia Giulia municipalities involved in the Alterenergy Project”.

Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, as Alterenergy project partner, has been published tow reports. The first document on best sustainability practices at international level and within the IPA Adriatic geographical scope is now available in Italian, too. The survey describes how big and small communities have pursued energy sustainability and can represent a benchmark for other communities that want to reduce their dependence from fossil fuels. The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region has translated the document  in the Italian language  and, on request , will send copies to project partners.

The second report, “Sustainability in Friuli Venezia Giulia municipalities involved in the Alterenergy Project” (Italian version), is a new publication to illustrate how three Alterenergy Communities have developed and implemented their approach and vision on energy sustainability. The produced document provides an overview of communities main social and economic aspects. It  also describes the efforts, achieved goals and  the future activities of the Municipalities of Amaro, Cavazzo Carnico and Verzegnis on CO2 reductions, environmental policies and education, sustainable energy plans and  renewable energy share as well as waste and sustainable forest management.
