ALTERENERGY at the ADRIAWEALTH Convention in Friuli Venezia Giulia Region

Puglia Region, as ALTERENERGY lead partner, has participated at the ADRIAWEALTH Project Convention “Creative Industries, Sustainable Tourism & Relevant Eco-Friendly Technologies” in Trieste (Friuli Venezia Giulia Region), during the Workshop “Eco Friendly energy technologies for tourism related buildings: plant applications, financing and policies for Solar Cooling systems, Bioenergy, Geothermal Energy, Wind Energy”.

Mrs. Chiara Campanile, ALTERENERGY Project Manager,  presented the latest project indicators, outcomes, results and financial targets, also in perspective of the opportunities for the promotion of renewable energy within the European Territorial Cooperation 2014-2020 (ADRION, MED, CBC IPA II Italy – Albania – Montenegro, Greece - Italy, Italy-Croatia Programmes) and in view of the ALTERENERGY contribution to the realization of EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) in 2016.

The ALTERENERGY Strategic Project, together with all projects funded by the IPA Adriatic CBC Programme 2007-2013, is now part of the “Bank of results”, a special e-library useful for the on-going and next Programming period. This e-tool will be officially presented on 8th November 2016 in L’Aquila by the AdriaWealth project’s staff.

AdriaWealth - Clustering and Capitalization project for the Sustainable Tourism in the Adriatic area, in particular, is a project which capitalizes on the results of previous projects financed by the IPA Adriatic Programme, with the purpose to facilitate the achievement of EUSAIR action plan for the Sustainable Tourism sector. AdriaWealth has been approved by the Managing Authority of the IPA Adriatic CBC Programme 2007–2013, on the last Call dedicated to capitalization projects on the basis of EUSAIR, the European Strategy for the Adriatic Ionian Macro-Region, and it refers to Priority n. 2, Natural and Cultural Resources and Risk Prevention, Measure 2.4, Sustainable Tourism. (EUSAIR Pillar n. 4: Sustainable Tourism).
