Energy saving, “ALTERNEREGY” and the opportunities for the SME

Roundtable with the trade unions to support the Veneto region enterprises. Wednesday the 3rd of September at Veneto Agricoltura (main office, at 9.30 in Agripolis, Legnaro PD) workshop on energy saving and renewable energy sources.

Key words: energy savings and renewable energy sources. Together with the experiences of Veneto region enterprises, that will be the main focus of the meeting organized with the support also of the Veneto Region administration and around ten different regional and provincial trade unions. The meeting will look at renewable energies, Energy efficiency and Energy saving assessing the best strategies and opportunities to support the local SME. The event is part of the EU project Alterenergy Energy Sustainability For Adriatic Small Communities of which Veneto Agricoltura is partner. The main aim of the project is to develop replicable models of sustainable energetic resource management in small communities of Adriatic sea basin. The municipalities with less than 10.000 inhabitants would improve their capacity of planning integrate actions on energy savings and energy production from renewable sources.

The activities will be presented by the Mr. Loris Agostinetto, project coordinator for Veneto Agricoltura. Mr. Romano Selva, eAmbiente will illustrate opportunities and tools to sustain Veneto region SME in the field of Energy, while Mrs. Eva Zane, Energy office of Veneto regional administration, will present projects and current activities developed by the Region.

The second section of the roundtable will see trade unions as main speakers. This will be an important moment to illustrate needs and perspectives of local enterprises and will represent an opportunity for identifies main needs and opportunities of the local enterprises.

Finally the round table will permit to define the selection criteria useful for the identification of the enterprises to be involved in future “BtoB”- Business to Business” activities, to be carried on in Puglia and Serbia in order to evaluate investments and commercial exchanges in the fields of renewable energies.
